Sunstate’s Core Values represent the guiding principles and beliefs that have created a distinct business culture. Although preached and espoused verbally by Mike in the early years, by the late 1990’s, the rapid geographic expansion required Sunstate to put those core values in writing to spread the word about what has made Sunstate a successful rental equipment company - both today and in the future. The Core Values are posted in every equipment rental branch, and are a constant focus of teaching and coaching lessons, no matter at what level or position in the company.

Our Core Values are:

PEOPLE:  Our people come first. Focus on their needs and they will take care of quality, service, customer needs.

INTEGRITY:  Never commit to anything without follow through (it starts at the top).

CHALLENGE:  Don't accept something because that is the way it has always been done. Challenge the company, as well as yourself, to change and improve. Suggest a better way.

EMPOWERMENT:  Make decisions - grow from mistakes.

TEAMWORK:  Find solutions, not fault. Long-term relationships with employees, customers and suppliers are essential to our success. Communication is the key.
